SimuSage, a young product by GTT-Technologies, is being used to model high-temperature and metallurgical processes. Some of these processes recently modeled by the developers as well as other users of SimuSage are presented.

SimuSage is a set of components for Borland Delphi that allow for the easy and versatile flowsheeting of complex chemical processes. It  provides standard flowsheet components such as streams, reactors, mixers, splitters, etc., while more complex user-defined units can be created from the standard ones by the SimuSage user.

SimuSage is based on ChemApp and integrates fully into the RAD (Rapid Application Development) environment of Delphi, creating standalone Windows executables of flowsheet simulations. All thermochemical data available for ChemApp and FactSage applications can be used with SimuSage. It is particularly well-suited to users familiar with the FactSage package, the ChemApp programmer's library, and the ChemSheet add-in for Microsoft Excel.

SimuSage is being developed by GTT-Technologies, after the initial version was created by SMS Demag.
