The presentation is an extract from the three volumes monograph devoted to the critical evaluation of the existing solubility data of all elements in the liquid alkali metals. The project was realized within the framework of the IUPAC Solubility Data Commission. All available experimental results related to the solubility of metals and non-metals were collected, assessed and finally recommended. This procedure requires continuous confrontation of the selected data with the respective phase diagrams. The actual sketches of these phase diagrams are displayed in an integral form for lithium, sodium and cesium binary systems to show their changes within the periodic table of elements as well as within the group of alkali metals. Spectacular influence of impurities on the apparent solubilities measured is observed, especially in the case of transition metals, what is connected with a side formation of ternary compounds. The B-Li and C-Li systems show several peculiarities which demand a special treatment.
