The Ga-Ge-Sb system belongs to the group of Ga-based alloys of interest in semiconducting industry. Thermodynamic analysis of this ternary system and alloys characterization is given in this paper. Thermodynamic properties for analysed system were obtained using Oelsen's calorimetry as an experimental method and analitically using Kohler and Hillert predicting methods at the temperature of 1273K. Obtained results were compared with literature data [1-6] and mutual agreement was noticed. Characterization of alloys was done using SEM/EDX and DTA method. Investigations presented in this paper were done for alloys in the sections with molar content of gallium from 0.1 to 0.9.
