Thermodynamic properties of mixing are determined for the binary Gold–Calcium system between 973 and 1173K by measuring the electromotive force of galvanic cells using calcium fluoride single crystal electrolytes.  A complete set of thermodynamic function are obtained for the Gold-rich Calcium compounds. The homogeneity of the phases between 0 and 50 atom % calcium are determined, by using coulometric titration.
