Travel information

The conference will be hosted at the
Loano 2 Village, via degli Alpini, 6, Loano (SV), ITALY
which is located about 2 km from the Loano railway station and 1.5 km from the city center.
 
To reach the conference location several travel options are possible. Two of them are recommended:

Option 1

(1) Arrival/departure at Genova Cristoforo Colombo (GOA) Airport (75 km from Loano).
The airport is connected to the main European hubs: Rome-Fiumicino, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, London-Gatwick, Munich, Istanbul-Ataturk.
 
(2) Free Conference Shuttle Bus on arrival
Departure from Genova Airport on Sunday, May 31 at 6:00 pm, arrival in Loano at 7:00 pm.

(3) Free Conference Shuttle Bus on departure
Departure from Loano on Friday, June 5 at 1:30 pm, arrival at Genova Airport at 2:30 pm.

Option 2

(1) Arrival at Genova Cristoforo Colombo (GOA) airport (75 km from Loano).
The airport is connected to the main European hubs: Rome-Fiumicino, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, London-Gatwick, Munich, Istanbul-Ataturk.
 
(2a) From Genova airport to Genova Piazza Principe railway station:
Shuttle bus "Volabus" (6 EUR, tickets on the bus). Departures at:

At the Loano train station, free shuttle buses provided by Loano2 village run regularly.
 
Notice that the taxi journey from Genova airport to Loano would cost about 150 EUR.

Option 3

(1) Arrival at Milano-Malpensa international (MPX) airport (230 km from Loano).
The main hub in northern Italy, with several intercontinental connections.
 
(2) From Milano-Malpensa airport to Milano Centrale railway station.
Train connection (Malpensa Express, frequency: 30 min, duration: 50 min, cost: 12 EUR)
    or
Bus connection (frequency: about 40 min, duration: about 45 min, cost: about 5 EUR)
 
(3) From Milano Centrale to Genova Piazza Principe railway station.
Direct intercity train (frequency: about 1 h, duration: 1.30 h, cost: about 15 EUR)
 
(4) From Genova Piazza Principe to Loano station: Direct local train (frequency: about 45 min, duration: about 1h 15min, cost: about 7 EUR)
At the Loano train station, free shuttle buses provided by Loano2 village run regularly.
